Lead Acid Batteries (commonly car batteries)

Lead acid batteries are sent to H J Enthoven, Darley Dale, DE4 2LP for recycling – A recycling rate of 98% is achieved here, the majority of the lead and plastics being sold to battery manufacturers to be made into new batteries.

Mixed Non-Lead Acid Batteries (commonly household batteries)

Mixed Non-Lead Acid Batteries (commonly household batteries) are sent by G&P to a variety of European Recyclers where the metals are extracted.
