What to do with unwanted textiles

Recycling your textiles can help give your garments a new purpose rather than going straight for disposal. Find out where your local textile recycling goes on our website.

All 5 of our Household Recycling Centres accept textiles, which are processed and sorted. Items that are good quality will go for reuse as whole garments and low quality products are sent to the rag industry or for textile recycling. Alternatively some districts collect textiles with their kerbside recycling so why not check if you can leave it out with your recycling.
