Master composters

master compostersWhat does a master composter do?

Master composters are volunteers who encourage people in their community to start composting at home and offer support to people who are already composting but who may be having difficulties or need encouragement.

Who are the master composter?

We have a team of around 12 volunteer master composters within Gloucestershire. The master composters carry out talks, work with schools, write articles and help promote composting at roadshows. Some of our master composters are also involved in Community Composting too, and they also have access to compost demonstration sites, where a wide range of composting solutions can be seen free of charge by the public.
