Where it is taken?
Emhart Glass, Doncaster
What happens to it?
The flat glass is sent for pre-treatment at South Kirkby, then onto a Doncaster facility for further processing. The processed furnace ready cullet produced during the process is then sold to a local packaging manufacturer in Doncaster who manufacture new glass bottles and jars from the recycled material.
