Gloucestershire Recycles - December 2020 newsletter
Welcome to the second issue of the Gloucestershire Recycles newsletter!
We’ll be keeping you up to date on all the latest news and information about how to reduce, reuse and recycle in the county.
The Christmas period is set to see a whole lot go to waste in the UK, including around 277,000 miles of wrapping paper, up to 2 million turkeys and 74 million mince pies. We have launched our 'make the most of' campaign, encouraging residents in Gloucestershire to recycle more and waste less this festive season.
In the form of a jolly advent calendar, we will be providing daily tips on how you can reduce waste, saving both money and the environment. The calendar will be published each day in the lead up to Christmas on our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
For those of you that don't have social media or if you've missed the first few days - don't worry, it's available on our website.
We hope our calendar will inspire you to help Gloucestershire recycle.
